Silhouette vase

“Draw a vase—but the one that first comes to your mind!” We asked people to create the most instinctive, “most vase-like” shape possible.

With the Silhouette Vase series, we aimed to create a kind of universal sign: what is the simplest form that can still define “vase-ness” itself? The result is an expressive, sketch-like object that balances between raw, chipped stone-like qualities and smoother, more refined surfaces.

The form feels almost drawn in a single gesture, yet its outline already contains a fully minimal vase within it. It exists both as a vase and as a sculptural object at the same time.
